Mission Statement
At Rumie, we create innovative technologies to bring down the barriers to learning, so that everyone can reach their potential.
Description
Rumie is an award-winning technology nonprofit, reducing barriers to learning for the world's most vulnerable. We work with the world's most trusted organizations to create, organize & distribute free, digital microlearning (called Bytes) on 21st Century Skills. Our mobile-first platform supports learners from underserved communities in 30+ countries, equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in our increasingly uncertain world.
As seen on Financial Post, Mashable & edSurge, recipient of the MIT Solve award & the Google Impact Challenge, subject of a Harvard Business School Case Study, named "Best Social Startup" by Global Entrepreneurship Week.
How does Rumie work?
- Our individual & corporate volunteers create Bytes on one (or more) learning categories.
- We organize & publish the Bytes onto our platform, Rumie-Learn (Netflix for Learning).
- Our partners distribute Rumie-Learn, help us reach learners at scale & amplify our impact.
We want to hear from you! If you are working at a company, we'd love to explore how we can bring Rumie to you & set real goals around our shared impact. We've partnered with Fortune 1000s like LoyaltyOne & Amazon to transform their employees' insights into Bytes, for those with the least access but most to gain. If you want to independently contribute, send us a note & we'll reach out when it opens up.
