We are looking for an experienced individual to join us on a freelance basis as a Grant Writer.
In addition to researching and writing grant proposals on behalf of our non-profit organization, you will be in charge of finding grant opportunities both at EU and internationally, and monitor the application deadlines.
Our ideal candidate is someone who will be able to enthusiastically help our organization attain the funding it needs to provide humanitarian aid to combat infectious diseases globally.

Grant Writer Responsibilities:
- Identifying grant funding opportunities - Writing, submitting and managing grant proposals - Furnishing prospective funding sources with supporting documents - Collaborating with Executive Director
Grant Writer Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in a field related to our activities) - Exceptional research skills - Prior experience in grant or proposal writing - Experience with non-profit fundraising - Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources - Ability to meet deadlines

Mission Statement
The World Infectious Disease Monitoring Foundation (WoIDMo) is a non-profit organization, established in 2020, that brings together a network of individuals from around the world. Our mission is to raise awareness of the importance of monitoring infectious diseases globally and how they affect us. One of the important aspects of our foundation is to function as an early warning system for emerging diseases. We also support development of better diagnostics and enable fast delivery of diagnostics where needed, especially where resource-limited countries are involved. For this we work together with other NGO’s that have boots on the ground. To further our understanding of infectious diseases and how to deal with them, we aim to support researchers working on projects relevant to our goals.
