New Vision Organization, Inc. is a 501 (C)(4) Nonprofit Organization founded in 2004. NVO, Inc advocates currently advocates for the incarcerated first-time offenders of any offense, who have never previously been involved with the law, and incarcerated individuals who have having their human/civil rights violated.
NVO, Inc is currently seeking to recruit two Administrative Assistants to ensure the client/advocate databases are maintained, monitored, updated and accurate at all times. NVO, Inc. is advocating to End Life/Life Without Parole for 1st Time Offenders of ANY Offense, in MA, with no prior history of involvement with the Law prior to their first and only mistake. Prisoners are too often stereotyped and Everyone deserves a second chance. We also seek to stop the severe Human/Civil Rights' Violations of the incarcerated population in Massachusetts Prisons. There has been high rates of suicides in Massachusetts Prisons which can be prevented if the abuses, deprivations, ongoing harassment's, medical and psychological neglect ceases. Transparency and Accountability is of great importance in prevention of suicides.
New Vision Organization, Inc was founded in 2004, in an effort to assist incarcerated men, women and youth, nationwide, although our focus now is SOLELY to advocate for FIRST-TIME OFFENDERS of ANY Offense, who were never previously involved with the law, prior to committing their first and only offense leading to a Life/LWOP sentence. Prisoners who committed their first offense prior to reaching the age of 25 years and prisoners who have thus far served TWENTY FIVE YEARS OR MORE OF THEIR SENTENCE . We seek Virtual Volunteers for Research, Legal Assistance, Community Outreach, networking and participating in meetings, events pertaining to prison reform goals and for media outreach. . We also seek Pro-bono
Lawyers assistance in some areas.
