Volunteers can provide help and companionship to patients and respite to their caregivers through in . As a direct patient volunteer you can make a difference by:
- Providing relief for a caregiver
- Reading aloud to patients
- Visiting with patients and their families
- Playing music and singing songs
- Prepare small meals for a patient
- Assist with light housekeeping for the patient and/or caregiver
- Celebrate a patient's birthday
