During these uncertain times, how can we help?

We are Bags Into Beds. An innovative nonprofit that creates sustainable bedding for those experiencing homelessness while cutting down on the amount of plastic pollution in Los Angeles.
We do this by collecting soft single-use plastics that would otherwise go to a landfill from industries such as retail, entertainment and more. Once collected, the plastic is shredded to create a down feather alternative which becomes our bed and pillow stuffing.
Our opperations are growing and the CEO no longer has the time needed to spread awareness and grow the nonprofit's following on social media platforms. We are looking for someone who is eager to to just that and we have all the necesary elements in place to set you up for success such as content calendar and a clear message.
The goal is to increase our social media following before the premier of our upcoming promotional video (it's an epic animation produced by someone who's worked at Dreamworks & Disney).
All in all this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to add a "win" to their resume.
Thanks!

Protecting the environment from plastic film pollution while uplifting the homeless literally and figuratively.
Bags Into Beds is a 501(c)(3) that uses plastic bags and other films as a plush stuffing in beds for the homeless inhabiting southern California. The immediate goal of the project is to prevent plastic films from entering landfills, waterways and other natural areas while repurposing the plastic for something of greater use. The immediate goal is to employ individuals to aid in the manufacturing of and distribution of said beds to communities in need around the state. However, we are currently focused on refining the concept to better serve the almost 60,000 homeless individuals in L.A.
We'll work with your schedule.
This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.
