LOT2545 serves high-risk and disadvantaged youth, and employs single moms with fair wages for their creative works, in Kampala, Uganda, Africa. Because of talented and dedicated volunteers in the US, 98 cents of each dollar donated is spent directly impacting lives in Uganda.

From our original effort to serve young men in Kampala, we have expanded to help others in need. In 2021, we are committed to providing educational classes for young women in the areas of health, life choices, and entrepreneurship.

We are looking for a talented jewelry designer to provide new and innovative jewelry designs for the women we employ to recreate from paper beads. Throughout each year, we employ approximately 20 women. They are paid per piece that they make(they set their prices), and we cover all the costs of the materials. We are wanting to launch a new, fresh line of jewelry for the summer and fall that has never been seen before. The women create the jewelry out of recycled paper. You can check out some of our current stock on our Etsy page (www.etsy.com/shop/lot2545).

If you are a talented jewelry designer and would like your designs to impact and change the lives of women, this is the opportunity for you.

LOT2545 is a registered 501c3 in the US and an NGO in Uganda. We do not have any fair trade certifications, but follow fair trade principles.
