THE COALITION OF VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS BELIEVES THAT GOOD TIMES MIXED WITH GOOD FELLOWSHIP BASED UPON SHARED EXPERIENCES IS ESSENTIAL TO THE WELL BEING OF OUR VETERANS,YOUNG OR NOT SO YOUNG ESPECIALLY IN THE WAKE OF THE COVID CRISIS.

CVO IS RECOMMENDING THAT COMMUNITY BUSINESSES AND GOVERNMENT DIRECT THEIR RESOURCES AND STAFFS TO PUT TOGETHER AN ARRAY OF SPECIAL EVENTS REGULARLY DESIGNED TO BRING OUR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES TOGETHER IN SETTINGS CONDUCIVE FOR SOCIALIZING.

THE DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EVENTS WE ARE SEEKING WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DELIVERING THIS MESSAGE TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT LEADERS, LOCAL BUSINESSES, SCHOOLS, LIBRARIES,AND NOT FOR PROFITS AND ASSISTING THEM IN PREPARING PLANS FOR SUCH VETERAN ORIENTED ACTIVITIES.

SUCH MORALE BOOSTING EVENTS WOULD INCLUDE CONCERTS, WINE AND CHEESE TASTINGS, BEER TASTINGS,MUSICAL PERFORMANCES,TALENT CONTESTS, ATHLETIC CONTESTS AND TOURNAMENTS FEATURING SUCH SPORTS AS VOLLEYBALL,SOFTBALL, HORSESHOES, TENNIS, AND GOLF.

CVO is headquartered in the City of Chicago and is composed of veterans organizations and allied groups supporting the well being of military families and veterans for the purpose of engaging in activities designed to maintain and improve the quality of life for these American heroes and their families who have sacrificed so much so we may all live in peace, prosperity, and good fellowship.
