Northern Haiti Sustainability Initiative is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the success of primary schools in Northern Haiti. The Marketing Team is seeking creative self-starters to assist in content creation and marketing efforts to build awareness and support for local community programs. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your creative skills toward making a difference for disadvantaged students.
Develop content for promotional materials including the nonprofit’s website, electronic newsletters, social media posts, direct mail, and other materials, as needed
Contribute to newsletters with stories and articles
Provide editorial support for marketing materials and other content
Help coordinate digital events
Strong writing and editing skills
Effective communicator and troubleshooter
Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups
Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable
Comfortable working independently
Experience in writing for education focused social media, blog posts, or promotional material is preferred

Northern Haiti Sustainability Initiative, Inc. (NHSI) was founded to provide for the long-term sustainability of primary schools in Northern Haiti.
NHSI provides training and funds to properly budget and finance teacher wages, books, school supplies, an on-campus water source, and daily student meals to primary schools in Northern Haiti. Teacher training is provided to raise the quality of education, including each school's ability to perform successfully on government tests. NHSI requires rigid budgetary discipline backed by strict expense documentation for all supported schools. An integral component of each school's long-term success is the financial and hands-on participation of the students' parents and local community.
