Summary: The Web Developer/Designer will perform various tasks depending on project deadlines. The web Developer/Designer needs to work with the former web developer to ensure the completion of the website on the staging server. This person needs to have some weekend availability. This position helps extend the resources in the Autistic Women’s Alliance to assist and direct the needs of our members.


Required Qualifications - At least one year or equivalent experience

  • HTML5 and CSS3
  • WordPress or comparable WYSIWYG editors
  • Knowledge of mobile responsive design
  • Cross-browser compatibility
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards
  • Using Ninja Forms or other compatible forms
  • Integration between other platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office Small Business Edition/SharePoint, HubSpot, or comparable CRM products.


Preferred Qualifications - 6 months or equivalent experience

  • PHP and WordPress template design
  • Bootstrap Framework
  • Knowledge of visual design
  • UX design


Responsibilities - 6 months or equivalent experience

  • Design new pages and maintain those pages
  • Participate in meetings and take on tasks when assigned
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Take the initiative and show leadership

We are only looking for volunteers that reside in the United States. Some weekend hours availability may be required in order get knowledge transfers between the former Web Developer/Designer, but once that's done, meeting will be in the evenings or on weekends
