Calling all dog-loving professional photographers in Houston, Texas!

Are you a professional photographer or just take incredible pictures of Dogs? Join Canine Companions volunteer team and help tell our mission and impact stories through pictures. Canine Companions is a national nonprofit organization that transforms the lives of people with disabilities by providing expertly trained service dogs, free of charge. Our dogs perform practical tasks that enhance independence and reduce reliance on others.  They aren’t just the ears, hands and legs of their human partners, they’re also goodwill ambassadors and often, best friends.

Your role
We are looking for positive, go-getter dog-loving professional photographers who are able to commit to a fun and rewarding volunteer position. You would be taking photos of Canine Companions Service Dogs in a variety of settings including indoors and outdoors. The approximate time commitment is 1-3h per month. If you have experience photographing dogs, that’s a plus!
