Save to Favorites

Family Service Rochester

We are seeking volunteers to help with light housekeeping/cleaning for our senior clients.

Some housekeeping tasks include: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, helping with laundry, cleaning bathrooms or kitchens... it really varies by the homeowner and their needs.

Flexible schedule. Volunteer would coordinate with the client the date/time that would work. Volunteers are able to donate whatever time works with their schedule.

Application Process:

We ask volunteers to complete a 3-step application process that includes a background check, watching a short orientation video, and signing a confidentiality/privacy policy statement. Once these three steps are complete you are ready to be matched and to start volunteering!

COVID-19 precautions:

Since you’d be going into the home we do ask that you’d take your temperature the day of volunteering as well as wearing a mask, face shield, and gloves while inside the residence and maintaining 6ft distance with the homeowner.
