**ImpactLife is now requiring all staff and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination is required. Masks will also continue to be worn by all staff, volunteers and donors.
Volunteers pick up blood at Decatur Donor Site or at designated mobile blood drives in the Decatur area and transport it to Springfield for processing and distribution. Mileage is reimbursed.
Orientation and Training in Springfield.
Current Reoccurring Site Pickup:
- Wednesdays 6:00 pm
- Fridays 3:00 pm
Must be at least 25 and able to pass driving background check. Commitment of at least 6 months preferred.

Description
The Blood Center is a volunteer-based organization that involves volunteer blood donors, a voluntary board of trustees, and community volunteers. Volunteers provide a much needed and valued service to our donors, patients and staff. We serve over 115 hospitals in 4 states and utilize volunteers from many areas to assist in our operations. Headquarters for the organization, as well as component processing, is located in Davenport, Iowa.

- Due to training, etc, we prefer drivers be able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of volunteering. Time off is expected and will be approved.
- Will be driving personal vehicle. For insurance purposes, must be at least 25 and able to pass driving background check. Proof of COVID-19 vaccine required. Masks are mandatory at this time as well.
