Denver Rescue Mission
Purpose of Position: Be a welcoming presence for ladies shopping at our weekly clothing closet (Fridays afternoons) by helping them find the right clothing and items which will fit their needs.
Duties May Include:
- Organizing and folding clothing
- Helping guests find clothing and items that fit their needs
- Setting up a welcoming and warm store-like atmosphere for our shoppers
- Overseeing shoppers and enforcing regulations concerning item limits
- Building relationships and encouraging guests/participants with hope

Founded in 1892, Denver Rescue Mission is the oldest full-service Christian charity serving the poor and needy in the Rocky Mountain region.
Lawrence Street Shelter is our most recognizable location because of the neon "Jesus Saves" sign on the corner of the building. Services at this location include shelter (up to 315 men nightly), medical services and relational and emotional support for those experiencing homelessness.
The Crossing provides a long-term New Life Program location for men; the STAR Transitional Program for homeless families and single men and women with children; and temporary housing for New Life Program graduates, interns and visitors.
