We are looking for volunteers to assist us in improving communication with our constituents in the new year. With Covid-19 still raging, we have transitioned our services to online programming, hence the need for better communication with our stakeholders. We use point-and-click mailing services (Mailchimp & MailJet), and publish two times per month. Training will be provided. Volunteers will have a lot of liberty in choosing program topics to be featured in the newsletter, and bylines will be granted as necessary. Ideally, we would like volunteers to commit to a block of 2-3 hours per month for 3-4 months in order to give ample time for training and onboarding (approx. 1 month). Excellent opportunity to learn new skills, put your writing skills into use, and advancing noble causes that change lives. 100% virtual.

The mission of the Global Health and Education Projects (GHEP) is to eliminate health disparities by addressing the non-medical factors that impact health outcomes, also known as the social determinant of health.

GHEP achieves its mission by delivering 6 programs: baby diaper distribution, family tree adoption program, public health 360, health, environmental education and awareness, healthy heart, and research and scholarly publications. The community is front and center of GHEP programs because it is for the community we serve. GHEP is a non-discriminatory organization welcoming individuals from all works of life.
