MANY OF TODAY' S VETERANS, YOUNG OR OLD, MALE OR FEMALE, NEED INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE IN ORDER TO HELP THEN TRANSITION BACK INTO PRODUCTIVE CIVILIAN LIVING.
THEY ALSO COULD USE A LITTLE HELP FROM THEIR NEIGHBORS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO MEET AND SOCIALIZE WITH THEIR FELLOW VETERANS. NO MAN OR WOMAN IS AN ISLAND - A FACT WE ARE REMINDED OF EVERYDAY THAT TOES BY DURING THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC CRISIS.
THE COALITION OF VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS WOULD LIKE PROFESSIONAL LIBRARIANS TO JOIN US IN MAKING OUR NEARBY LIBRARIES WELCOMING PLACES FOR OUR VETERANS TO VISIT AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES AND SPECIAL EVENTS THEY OFFER.
IF YOU ARE A DEDICATED LIBRARIAN LEADER OR STAFFER, WE CERTAINLY WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU AND BENEFIT FROM YOU GUIDANCE AS WE CARRY OUT THIS PROJECT.

CVO is headquartered in the City of Chicago and is composed of veterans organizations and allied groups supporting the well being of military families and veterans for the purpose of engaging in activities designed to maintain and improve the quality of life for these American heroes and their families who have sacrificed so much so we may all live in peace, prosperity, and good fellowship.
