Looking for a convenient way to volunteer and make a difference? We are looking for volunteers interested in writing monthly notes and sending cards (birthday, anniversary, holiday) to hospice patients and families. Asana Hospice, an Amedisys Company serves 7 counties in central pa. We are looking for volunteers to serve a variety of roles. Just 2-4 hours a month is all that is necessary and the work can be done at your convenience and in the comfort and safety of your own home. Training is provided.

The word "Asana" is defined as a yoga position that is designed to help master the body and spirit and enhance the body's function.
The Asana Hospice team addresses the physical emotional,social and spiritual concerns that often arise when someone is facing a life-limiting issues. We focus on each individual patient, not the disease. Our holistic approach is centered on life and living, ensuring that patient and family receive the care comfort and attention they deserve.
Our volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team.
