Title: Volunteer Assistant Manager
Seeking a responsible, mature, and confident individual to help supervise Volunteers in a children's program. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Programs Director, and is in charge of a small team of staff/volunteers. The Assistant Manager will maintain a high quality and safe learning environment for everyone.
Your role:
-Manage and train volunteers in your assigned program
-Make Observations of your staff in class or videos
-Conduct Check-In/staff meetings on a weekly basis
-Create, save, and update staff's information, contact, and schedules
Trainings: Supervisory training, observations & checkin training, and shadow training
Requirements:
Supervising a children's program is not an easy role
-Experience working with youth or children
-Experience tutoring children (elementary and middle school ages)
-A Bachelor’s degree, or working toward a bachelor’s degree
Volunteer hours: 6-10 hours per week
