Is 2021 your year to connect with your community? To make a 1:1 impact on the life of a young person? To embark on your own transformative personal journey?
If so, one-one mentoring with New Pathways for Youth might be for you. Our program reaches beyond the social and recreational aspects of mentoring. The youth we serve experience poverty and four times the adversity of their peers. Together, NPFY mentors and staff guide our youth as they discover renewed outlooks on life and realize unwritten possibilities for their futures. We help youth to reach incredible outcomes that break the cycle of poverty through a holistic development program and 1:1 mentoring within community groups.
Due to the pandemic, the youth we serve have been more isolated than ever and many are confined to homes that are not loving or nurturing and sometimes unsafe, so your help is needed more now than ever.
Our goal is to help 1,000 local teens to break the chains of poverty and adversity and we can't do it without volunteer mentors. If you are a caring and committed adult and you have the flexibility and time to dedicate to a youth for the next two years, you're invited to attend one of our weekly Mentor Introduction sessions on Zoom to learn more about NPFY, our kids and everything you need to know about mentoring with our program.

Transformation begins with awakening the full human potential. New Pathways for Youth guides young people as they discover renewed outlooks on life and realize unwritten possibilities for their futures. We do this through a holistic development program and 1:1 mentoring within community groups.
At New Pathways for Youth, we’re awakening the full human potential to bring about individual and community transformation.
In the communities we serve, youth experience poverty and four times the adversity of their peers. Beyond material insecurities, these challenges interrupt a youth’s sense of their potential, disconnecting them from what’s true: that each of us has immeasurable, inherent value - and the future holds unlimited possibilities. Through a holistic development program and 1:1 mentoring within community groups, we guide our youth as they discover renewed outlooks on life and realize unwritten possibilities for their futures.
Our research-based program is proven to generate remarkable outcomes for the youth we serve; from greater high school graduation rates, to increased personal wellness and prevention of harmful behaviors. Nobody goes it alone. Every youth takes root in and is supported by the entire New Pathways community, discovering healthier, more conscious ways of thinking and taking transformative steps together.
When our youth experience the support and personal development that our program offers, they feel unstoppable - and that spirit extends beyond the self to impact their family, community, and the world around them.
