Make a difference through volunteering with the Stewardship Corps. Volunteers and park staff work together at different locations each week to restore native habitat and beautify the San Mateo County Parks. Come explore the County Parks while lending a hand with planting native plants.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must have the Volunteer Agreement signed by a parent or guardian. Youth under 15 are welcome and have to be accompanied by an adult.
No experience necessary. Training and tools will be provided. Bring a completed Volunteer Agreement.
Workdays limited to 10 participants. Volunteers must provide and wear their own PPE. Safe social distancing will be practiced. The event may be cancelled due to heavy weather or fire conditions. Wear clothes that can get dirty. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required. Dress in layers for varying weather conditions and rain gear if needed. Fulfills community service requirements.
