ORGANIZATION: W GIRLS INC

  • 8 people are interested

The Washington, DC chapter of WGIRLS INC., a 501(3) philanthropic organization, is looking for an enterprising, ambitious female leader to join our Board, who is eager to support girls’ education at a Title I school.

This summer our female-led chapter embarked on a strategic partnership with the Girls Global Academy, an all-girls high school located in downtown, DC.

GGA is a brand new high school designed to encourage girls to become leaders in the fields of STEM and Business. We couldn't be more excited to be helping empower these girls through our fundraising, volunteerism and mentorship efforts.

As the Marketing Chair, you will be a go-getter and take the lead in helping shape our story and brand as a chapter with the community we serve, our members and future nonprofit and business partnerships with oversight by the President and Board.

We would love someone with experience using social media tools like Canva and Later, has strong editorial skills and can develop and plan a strong marketing strategy across platforms to help build our brand and grow our reach. Storytelling and strong writing experience a plus.

This is a volunteer position.
