Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Yolo County
CASAs are volunteers that work directly with an appointed foster youth throughout Yolo County. CASAs get to know their appointed youth by visiting and engaging in fun activities once a week. They also gather important information from reports and professionals to advocate for the youth's best interests related to their education and well-being. Yolo County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) provides advocacy for children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned and placed into foster care in Yolo County. These children are making their way through the Child Welfare System as well as the Dependency Court process in Yolo County.
