Chrysalis Center helps those living in poverty, veterans, men, women, children, and young adults who are struggling with mental health, addiction, HIV/AIDS, homelessness, and those returning from incarceration.

Children who live in our supportive housing sites, those whose families pick up food from our food pantry, or participate in other Chrysalis Center programs need your help. These children often have limited opportunities to engage in fun and learning activities like doing craft projects.

The kit should include everything that would be needed to do a craft project. Children in our programs may not have access to glue, crayons, etc. due to a lack of funds to purchase them, so those should be included if they are required for the craft. If there are pieces to be cut out, you can either pre-cut them, or provide a pair of small scissors. The crafts can be centered around a holiday or season, but also can be ones that can be used year round. Chrysalis Center does not reimburse expenses for supplies used to create craft kits.
