Mission Statement

The Mission of New Nation Youth Center is to transform the lives of youth and young adults into productive, well-equipped, and purpose-driven individuals ready to enact change that benefits our society.

Description

New Nations Center was created to transform and re-stabilize the lives of youth, young adults, and families in our troubling world. Rates of disconnected youth and young adults between the ages of 16 and 24 who are not in school or working-are highest among Black, Latino, and American Indian/Native American youth. Disconnection can lead to grave outcomes: more significant risk of economic instability, mental health and substance use problems, and criminal justice involvement. Youth and young adults need a stable foundation to successfully transition into adulthood becoming healthy, productive young adults who add value to society. The barriers that youth face during this critical period in their lives can be difficult when there is a lack of positive reinforcement or programs that can help ensure youth have the support, they need to reach their potential goals. Factors found to associate with disconnected youth. To see our plan please visit our website.
