Our volunteers assist on the frontlines of our high volume spay and neuter clinic! Surgical Operative Support (SOS) volunteers specifically help to make sure we are able to provide the highest quality care to our client's pets each day. There are two variations of this position:
SOS Prep- Help build surgical packs for the following day's surgeries. Cut surgical drape, wash instruments and lint roll surgical towels.
SOS Recovery- Help our pets wake up after surgery, update information in their patient chart and then contact the owner to let them know their pet is ready for pick up!
Both of these positions are offered extensive training and support. Our veterinary team is so grateful for these volunteers!
