Here at Sertoma Centre, we provide opportunities that empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve personal success. We help over 2,000 individuals annually in the Greater Chicago Southside neighborhoods -and we need volunteers like you to support our mission!
The Volunteer Opportunity:
Sertoma Centre is in need of volunteers who will assist the Nursing Team with filing and sorting all the medical paperwork. Volunteers must have great attention to detail. Experience filing is encouraged but not required. We are looking for someone who can take their time and get everything done correctly.
Our hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. We will work with your schedule. Come in as often as you like, for as long as you like. We prefer shifts of at least 3hrs.
We are located at 4343 West 123rd Street, Alsip, IL 60803.
-A Minimum of 2-month commitment is requested.
-RNAs or experience with medical filing preferred.

COVID-19 Info: This volunteer opportunity is located in a potentially high traffic/contact point. Volunteers are asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Proof of vaccination will be requested but it is not mandatory.
All volunteers must show acceptable proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the start time. Volunteers can get tested at CVS/Walgreens or any other public health site. Below is a link to find a testing location. The cost of the test is free under the CARE act; you must indicate you will be volunteering at a non-profit in healthcare.
