The Fit and Food Connection is a non-profit that offers people living in food and fitness deserts access to free nutritious food, physical activities, educational workshops, and personal coaching to encourage and support healthy living. We have two programs: Food Access Program which is comprised of Food Assistance and Delivery and our Organic Garden, and our Wellness Program which is comprised of our Group Fitness, Group Nutrition, and our One on One personalized coaching. We are comprised of mostly volunteers and all of our programs and services are free.

The Fit and Food Connection is a non-profit organization serving our neighbors in the St. Louis community. We provide wellness offerings to low-income families and empower our clients to get healthy through our five free fitness and nutrition programs. The connection of food provision, lifestyle programming and coaching, and education is a dynamic solution to address general poverty's impact on health.

The Fit and Food Connection’s Marketing Committee is an integral part of the organization. The committee identifies possible marketing opportunities and acts as the sounding board for marketing strategies and ideas. We are looking for a leader in marketing that has extensive professional experience that can help us lead/co lead our marketing efforts. The duties of this position include:

• Contribute expertise to assist the committee in adding to, updating and executing our marketing plan and initiatives
• Help develop and implement outreach programs that will drive our business, increase program attendees, followers and donors
• Help to organize, plan, schedule and lead our monthly marketing committee meetings, and send communications to the marketing team
• Work with organizational leaders and volunteers to unify our brand through marketing, development and social media
