During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
This is a unique opportunity for volunteers, it compare to no other in town! In our Aquarium and Conservatory, volunteers will spend their time assisting biologists and aquarists with food prep, animal and habitat maintenance, and other animal needs. This is a year-long commitment, and volunteers commit to a consistent schedule.
In light of COVID-19 the Butterfly House & Aquarium requires ALL staff and volunteers to wear a face covering during the duration of their shift. For the safety of our staff, volunteers, and guests, ALL guests* are required to wear a face covering upon entrance to the facility. There are also several hand sanitizing stations at the entrance to each exhibit and heightened cleaning procedures throughout the day.
*Guests under the age of 2 should not wear a face covering. Guests between the ages of 2-6 are encouraged to wear a face covering. Please inquire with the Butterfly House & Aquarium Staff with further questions.
