Benefit application specialists learn to complete SNAP(food stamp, Medicaid, and other important benefit applications for Medicare beneficiaries in Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast. With the support of BEC staff and training/mentoring by current volunteers, specialists better our clients lives each and every day by helping them to apply for state and federal benefits to make the most of their senior years and retirement. Description

Your Aging & Disability Resource Center is a dynamic, private, nonprofit organization dedicated to serving seniors, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers. Your Aging & Disability Resource Center/Area Agency on Aging of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, Inc. is the leader of the Aging Network in Planning and Service Area 9 which includes Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie counties.

Professional, dedicated staff is available to help in English, Spanish and Creole.
