Volunteers for the Michigan Youth Education Fund are critical to help support our programs. We were founded by volunteers and continue to be run by volunteers. Due to COVID-19 this opportunity is completely virtual.
As an outreach volunteer, you can expect to help with donor outreach and relations, networking with school districts, and related social media work. You will work in a supportive and dynamic setting with autonomy.

The Michigan Youth Education Fund is committed to reducing barriers and costs for Michigan students attending educational events and opportunities through grants and scholarships.
Description
The Michigan Youth Education Fund (MiYEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on giving K-12 students access to experiential learning outside of the classroom. Our organization believes that a fundamental part of education is learning through different academic experiences. Unfortunately, many students are unable to participate in extracurricular activities due to the financial costs associated with events and travel. Here at the Michigan Youth Education Fund, we are breaking down barriers, so that all students are able to participate in the educational activities that will help to advance learning, inspire change, and promote leadership. We believe in coordinating with school districts, teachers, parents, and students to provide the most for our Michigan students.
