Apply to be a Field and Nursery Intern!
Field & Nursery Interns will work under the direction of the Stewardship Manager to assist with a variety of habitat restoration projects. Work can be conducted on the preserves or at the native plant nursery. Tasks vary greatly and can include aiding in the management of nature preserves, planting native species, invasive plant control, native seed collection, plant identification, and plant propagation.

The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."
Description
The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
