The Role
Supports the Social Media Group with boosting the company’s online presence and increasing brand awareness through analyzing the success of social media campaigns, identifying areas for improvement, assisting with social media strategies and creating engaging content.
What you will be responsible for...- Analyzing social media post metrics across Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.
- Reporting to the Associate Director- Social Media for progress and performance of social media posts and campaigns on a monthly basis.
- Analyzing the performance of social media campaigns and identifying areas of opportunity and improvement.
- Identifying accounts to follow and engage with that would be beneficial for partnerships.
- Observing follower engagement and building a report on their behaviors
- Researching new social media trends, tools and hashtags for utilization of upcoming campaigns.
- Keeping up with current events and pop culture for better understanding of user behavior.
- Supporting the Associate Director- Social Media with social media content, including but not limited to:
- Development of social media calendar and strategies
- Conducting A/B testing of content and images on all social media channels
- Promotion and positioning of STW(tm) Science volunteers as water authority resources
- Monitoring and providing consultation on public’s awareness of the STW(tm) cause
- Responding to all social media correspondence in a timely and appropriate manner
- Attending all monthly Social Media group meetings and weekly Content meetings. May also be required to attend other team meetings, as requested.
- Completing timesheet on a weekly basis.

- Associates degree completed or comparable work experience (at least 6 months to year full time paid corporate/non-profit work marketing experience)
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
- Experience with social media platforms, social media metrics, social media content required.
- Experience with Hootsuite a plus.
