One of the high priorities of the Coalition of Veterans Organization for 2021 is to offer introductory art workshops to veterans at their local libraries and similar venues right in their own neighborhoods where they can gather with their fellow veteran brothers and sisters regularly in a comfortable setting and possibly explore their own hidden talents in the process.

The benefits of participating in such art skills development workshops for traumatized veterans and those veterans transitioning back into civilian life are well know. The learning of a new skill can be most satisfying and among other things can offer a calming influence during our turbulent times.

If you are an artist and have had experience directing or attending art workshops this might be just the opportunity you are looking for and right in your own backyard.

Moreover, this activity enables the volunteer to pay back the men and women of our Armed Forces who have put their own lives in danger or order to keep those on the Home Front safe and sound.
