Polish your gardening skills as you help grow and harvest crops in a sustainable fashion for food banks. Create and deliver food baskets to grateful, underprivileged families. Help build and create practical artwork that helps scare away bears or provides structural support for farm projects. Help an organization that is currently feeding over 500,000 families! Some opportunities are remote and others are in person. This program is in partnership with Farmer Frog. No application is required for this opportunity.
Here are some basic descriptions of each type of activity:

Farm Tasks: Harvesting, Mulching, Watering, Weeding, Planting, Creating + Hanging outdoor art to scare away bears
Loading: Lifting 50 lbs crates repeatedly to load on trucks, cars, and trailers. Intense work.
Bagging: Packaging loose product for families in need.
Check-out at Gate: Checks for the outgoing load, makes sure everything is counted, takes a second look at the load before it leaves Farmer Frog.
Data Entry Coordinator: Works from home. Contact person. Slips containing information about what food items are loaded out are messaged via text. Data Entry Coordinator will enter the data into the shared Google Docs.
Delivery Driver: If interested, send an email to info@teenswhocare.us containing your name, phone #, email, vehicle make and model, weight capacity, delivery area, proof of insurance and picture of driver license. Also include your availability as hours for this task may vary.
