HANAC, Inc. - originally founded by George Douris as the Hellenic American Neighborhood Action Committee - is a New York City-based multi-faceted social services organization. The organization was founded in 1972 to serve the needs of vulnerable populations throughout New York City.

HANAC is hiring a Human Resources Assistant who will work remotely or in the office from time to time. The role of this Human Resource Assistant will focus on the following:

  • Assist in HR Department in recruiting efforts. Example: job posting, Updating job postings
  • Assist HR department and hiring manager review job, applicant
  • Returning phone calls employees about specific inquires
  • Assist with virtual Filing or onsite
  • Assisting with the new hire process (reviewing new hire document for compliance)
  • Take on various tasks as needed.
