Mission Statement

We’re a nonprofit dedicated to building a resilient and inclusive small-businesses ecosystem. Led by spirited innovators, we’re creating an economy that serves all Coloradans, across racial and economic divides. We believe the effects of COVID-19 and the other ongoing crises can serve as a catalyst for sparking the kind of structural change we need to see in Colorado.

Description

We've developed a three-phase approach to our work to best categorize the types of programs we offer and the targetted audience for them.

Currently, our programming is under Phase 1 "Stabilize to Reopen". This includes a $31M fund of grants and loans for small businesses, free access to mental health support, a mentorship & business guidance network, and an at-cost PPE marketplace.

We're currently launching programs under our second phase "Innovate to Grow. This includes #CanDoColorado a consumer confidence campaign, digital innovation resources specific to Colorado small businesses, and focuses on both childcare businesses and developing a flexible workforce.

To date, Energize Colorado has injected over $7M direct to small businesses and provided direct support for over 1200. In the next few months alone our impact is going to rapidly grow as we launch our suite of new programs.

Our mission is dedicated to injecting support into under-represented communities, mainly women, minority, and veteran-owned businesses as well as rural Colorado.
