American Red Cross - Western New York Region
Help people affected by disasters ranging from home fires to hurricanes by providing food, shelter, essential supplies, and comfort and hope.
Disaster Action Team members respond locally to disasters and emergencies in their own communities to provide housing, food, clothing, comfort and more. Team members committ to being on-call and available for defined shifts.
General Disaster Responders respond to larger scale disasters on a regional, state or national basis. General Disaster responders specialize in one or more activities such as feeding, sheltering, logistics, technology or others. Responders choose when they are available to deploy for disaster response.
The safety of our workforce and the communities we serve continues to be our priority. The Red Cross follows CDC guidance, and we work closely with local health officials to safely provide help and hope when disasters strike.

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
Every single day, the American Red Cross helps people in emergencies. Whether itメs one displaced family, thousands of disaster victims, or providing care and comfort to an ill or injured service member or veteran or support to a military family member, our vital work is made possible by people like you. It is through the time and care of ordinary people that we can do extraordinary things.
We'll work with your schedule.
