Do you have experience recruiting or leading volunteers? Are you interested in enhancing the volunteer's experience? Do you have process improvement ideas that can help us develop the best volunteer program possible?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, we would love to learn more about your skills and interests! First we want you to fill out a brief questionnaire and then we would love to chat with you. If it seems like a good fit for both you and our Volunteer committee, then we would invite you to join our team.

Our committee is currently meeting virtually twice per month for 1 hour.

Mission Statement

HFH AFFILIATE: The mission of Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is to provide Strength, Stability, and Self-Reliance through Shelter for families in Cass County, ND and Clay County, MN. RESTORE: The mission of the Lake Agassiz Habitat ReStore: To keep usable building materials, home improvement products and appliances out of the local landfill To provide new and gently used home improvement materials and appliances at affordable prices to people of all income levels To generate additional funds to build more Habitat for Humanity homes in Cass and Clay counties, allowing more families in need to purchase a simple, decent and affordable home of their own.

Description

HFH AFFILIATE:
We partner with families and build our homes alongside the future homeowners. These families pay a 30-year affordable mortgage to Habitat. Our work is made possible, because of our numerous volunteers, donors, and our community partners. We have volunteer opportunities on our build sites, in the ReStore, helping with events, or serving on a committee.

RESTORE:
Habitat ReStore is a building materials thrift store that take donations from individuals, businesses and contractors to sell to the public at a reduced rate. Proceeds from sales go to support building Habitat homes in Cass and Clay counties.
