RSVP Polk's Cards for Covid Project has grown by leaps and bounds since March 2019!
We have received several thousand cards from around the United States (and world!) Cards from this ongoing project need to be sorted, counted and delivered to our Senior Agency partners.
If you are 55+ years of age (requirement of the program) and are good at sorting, organizing and interacting with people this may be for you!
You will also contact agency partners to arrange for delivery of cards to the facilities.
CDC social distancing guidelines are followed. Program provides masks and hand sanitizer.

Description
Leading Through Experience! You've gained a lifetime of experience. Now is the time to put your skills and talents to good use by volunteering through RSVP. RSVP provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, community and service organizations, and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of volunteers with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental accident insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
