ORGANIZATION: Qmunity Foundation

On Wednesday, December 23, Project MORE will host HollyWellness, a holiday-themed community health fair, providing a safe, affirming, & LGBTQ-inclusive opportunity for south county residents to receive FREE health screenings, immunizations, and wellness resources from 11:00 am to 5:30pm in Gillroy, CA at San Ysidro Park, with no insurance required.

*COVID-19 Disclosure: This event directly supports community wellbeing during COVID-19. This is an essential community health service. All guests and volunteers must wear face coverings and adhere to safety protocols. This is an approved activity by the County of Santa Clara and City of Gilroy.

Wednesday, December 23

This community initiative will not be possible without the generous help of volunteers to aid our nonprofit organization with set-up, reception/greater, and toolkit distribution. Our task descriptions are below:

  • Set-Up Team: 8:30am - 11:00am
    volunteers will help set-up tables, chairs, safety signs, and decor.

  • Guest Support: 10:30am - 1:00pm
    volunteers will help visitors with directions, answer questions, and distribute wellness toolkits as people leave. Bilingual volunteers who speak Spanish are preferred.

  • Guest Support: 12:30pm - 3:00pm
    volunteers will help visitors with directions, answer questions, and distribute wellness toolkits as people leave. Bilingual volunteers who speak Spanish are preferred.

  • Guest Support: 2:30pm - 5:00pm
    volunteers will help visitors with directions, answer questions, and distribute wellness toolkits as people leave. Bilingual volunteers who speak Spanish are preferred.

  • Guest Support & Teardown Team: 4:00pm - 6:30pm
    volunteers will help visitors with directions and teardown tables, chairs, and decor. Bilingual volunteers who speak Spanish are preferred.

You can sign-up for multiple shifts.

During this volunteer opportunity, you will have a safe and rewarding experience that is welcoming to everyone. Volunteers will have their defined workspace.

Everyone's health and safety is important to us. All volunteers must observe all State and County health and safety guidelines and orders. This includes wearing a face covering, face mask or face shield, and to maintain 6 foot physical distancing. If you are feeling ill or experiencing symptoms, please cancel your participation and let us know as soon as possible.
