Southern Rhode Island Volunteers
Grocery shopping volunteers and deliverers needed for Tuesday or Thursday mornings. This service happens at a local market in the South Kingstown area, however delivery is to senior residents of any Washington County town. Shoppers are needed 8:30 am to 11:30 am; grocery deliverers are needed 9 am to noon; and baggers are needed 8:30 am to 11:30 am. You can help out once a week or both days or once a month--call us for details to join this dedicated team. Please note, that all team members wear masks, sanitize hands, and take all Covid 19 safety guidelines into practice. The market is sanitized multiple times daily at touch points and beyond and there are limited numbers of individuals allowed in the market at any time.
