Auction Committee Volunteer - Heart Ball
American Heart Association
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the American Heart Association has moved its events to a digital platform. We are looking for help in soliciting auction items for our Leon Heart Ball and Bay County Heart Ball throughout the months of January through May.
Tasks would include calling local businesses and asking for donations of items, services, or experiences that we can auction off at each of the events. Volunteer must be comfortable with talking professionally on the phone and asking for donations.
This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity with flexibility in hours, days of the week, etc.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Our mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. That single purpose drives all we do.
The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest, largest voluntary organization devoted to fighting cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
Founded by six cardiologists in 1924, our organization now includes more than 22.5 million volunteers and supporters working tirelessly to eliminate these diseases. We fund innovative research, fight for stronger public health policies and provide lifesaving tools and information to save and improve lives.
Our nationwide organization includes 144 local offices and nearly 2,700 employees. We moved our national headquarters from New York to Dallas in 1975 to be more centrally located. The American Stroke Association was created as a division in 1997 to bring together the organization’s stroke-related activities.
