The need is great for food and other resources in the West 7th St. Saint Paul community. Volunteers are needed to answer our phone line and direct calls to area of service. Volunteers should be:
comfortable on the phones
good with verbal communication
able to understand the needs of our clients and neighbors
able to give resource and referral information
able to track calls for statistic and record keeping purposes
Commitment: Minimum weekly commitment for 3 months. Background check is required for this role.

09:00 AM to 12:30 PM
12:30 PM to 04:00 PM

The Salvation Army offers social services and recreational programs with the goal of addressing specific physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of each family, individual, child/youth, or elderly person. Services provided include, but not limited to: emergency food shelves, school supply programs, rental/utility assistance, educational programs, outreach to the homeless, family and youth camping, community center programs, Christmas assistance programs, nursing home visitations, corrections programs, and disaster services.
