SeniorNet learning centers, run entirely by volunteers, offer computer courses designed for learners age 50 and older. Subjects include basic computer skills, word processing, spreadsheets, Windows, Internet and email, Photoshop Elements, The Print Shop, Picasa, iPhones and iPads. We use volunteers as coaches to assist instructors and help students individually. Experienced coaches with ideas that can be developed into course material may be given an opportunity to teach. Our courses meet once weekly for two hours, usually for four or eight weeks. We need a firm commitment. You need good PC skills and great people skills.
