We are seeking community members (ideally members who have children or work with children) to join our community advisory board for the creation of a new Americorps program.
AmeriCorps is a voluntary civil society program supported by the U.S. federal government, foundations, corporations, and other donors that engages adults in public service work with a goal of "helping others and meeting critical needs in the community." Through this program, we will invite people interested in early childhood education from around the country to help us manage and operate our new program.
We need your help to determine what program we are going to create and how we will create it.
We are currently conducting market research in our community for this program. We hope this research will tell us what the real needs of children and parents are in our area. If you would like to see this research, please look at the link below.
