A Tutor For Change (AT4C) is providing virtual tutoring/homework help 5 days a week for grades 6-12 in all subjects. You can choose the days, times, ages, and subjects that work best for you (Monday through Friday), but we do require a minimum of one set hour a week for this position.
We are searching for Spanish speakers to provide tutoring/homework help in different subjects to Spanish-speaking students.
The program is facilitated through Google Classrooms and Google Meet. A True Change (ATC) also uses Workplace by Facebook as our Virtual Office (Note: Workplace by Facebook does not require a Facebook account to use, and is in no way connected with a personal Facebook account.).
ATC is deeply rooted in the community and emphasizes respect, diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything we do. Our volunteers are an integral part of ATC, and we foster an organizational culture that encourages all people to express their ideas and concerns and provides opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.
Please note: Sessions will be approximately 10 weeks long. The next Session will begin in mid-late January. In the future, we are planning to start including educational activities that build critical thinking skills and are delivered through a social justice lens.

ATC works to bridge the gap between the community and systemic challenges preventing success in vulnerable populations. "The Primary Impacts of Change" are the three strategic objectives to empower change; Leadership Development, Education, and Civic Engagement. Unique factors separate A True Change (ATC) from the other community-based organizations, securing an exceptional advantage. As a cloud-based, paperless organization, ATC operates by an International Organization's standard.
