LITERALLY MILLIONS OF VETERANS ARE SUFFERING NEEDLESSLY DUE TO A LACK OF KNOWLEDGE!

We are Know A Vet? (KnowAVet.org), an IRS approved FREE service to veterans and our families, designed to help whose who volunteered to risk their lives to protect ours. We provide information and assistance, to aid in learning of 90 issues vets have earned help for, how and where to get that help, for our best possible life after service.

Digital Media Manager

We are looking for a volunteer to join our management team coordinating our imaging and messaging with our Web Team, Research and Newsletter Team Leaders, Grants Team, and Founder providing direction and supervision to your team (currently three digital media assistants) for our outreach and funding efforts.

You will be a valued addition to our team of 50+ amazingly dedicated and talented volunteers, all committed to helping veterans and their families adjust to civilian life, recover from the traumas of military life and learn of all the services and benefits they have earned. That includes our quest to lift over a million Surviving Spouses out of poverty, to a healthier life.

We provide information and assistance, to aid in learning of 90+ issues we have earned help for, and how to get that help, through government and/or community resources, for our best possible life after service.

Description

KAV helps vets and their families via our:

  1. Physical and online outreach;
  2. Website - with 90+ issues and hundreds of videos, along with links to literally thousands of local resources to help veterans;
  3. "KnowAVet News", has well researched articles on topics to better the lives of Post 911 vets and their families, as well as Senior Vets and Surviving Spouses;
  4. KAV provides personal help via email, social media and phone, through our live, "Champions" for anyone who asks for help.

  • After your initial introductory meetings and training, you will probably spend between 3 -5 hours a week, including two weekly team leader coordination meetings.
