Every community throughout our country has a diverse array of spoken languages as the primary language. In the face of disasters, local community leaders work hard to ensure their community members are safe and provided necessary resources. Considering the vast number of spoken languages in many of the larger cities and limited resources in smaller towns, we help bridge that gap by providing skilled volunteers to translate information for community leaders timely and accurately.
Current projects:
- Translate First Aid/CPR/AED classes to different languages
- Translate website to different languages
- Translate life-saving template messages to different languages for community leaders to use in disaster preparedness efforts
- Interpreters to be available during First Aid/CPR/AED classes to provide real-time translation for class participants
