VPMMA relies on consistent and engaging social media and email marketing to reach our audience of mentors, mentees and sponsors/donors. We are looking for volunteers to help create content, post content to social media and send out monthly newsletters. NO EXPERIENCE is necessary, we will train the right people and we have a Digital Media Manager to support you with the work.
Duties would include:
Creating content via Canva application
Creating the social media calendar
Scheduling posts to social media via the Scheduling application
Creating monthly newsletters

Mission Statement

​VPMMA is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization that provides industry-based project management career mentorship and networking opportunities for our great Nation’s Service-Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses.

Description

In December 2017 Eric "Doc" Wright and Joe Pusz, PMO Joe started a proof of concept which eventually became VPMMA. ​A select few Veterans and Mentors connected to try to concept, pairing a Veteran seeking a career in Project Management with an experienced PM. The results were immediate and VPMMA was born.

The goal for VPMMA is to leverage the generous project management community to find Mentors willing to volunteer time to benefit Veterans, Servicemembers and Military Spouses. In short order, the support was overwhelming. Mentors from across the United States stepped up to serve those who have served us. Now is your turn to join us and give back some of your time to help a Veteran, Servicemember and Military Spouse.
