Kindred Hospice is seeking volunteers to provide companionship to our patients and their families. Can you be a good listener, read to a patient, play cards, a game, watch TV, listen to music, help with special events, or just hold someone's hand? If so, we need you! Our patients love visits from volunteers who want to spend time with them. We have many volunteer opportunities throughout Prescott, Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, Chino Valley, Mayer, and surrounding communities. We provide training and camaraderie with your fellow volunteers. And we reimburse for mileage.

Description
Kindred Hospice's purpose is to comfort patients and family members when patients have reached a point in their lives where the priority of care turns to ensuring the patient is at ease, rather than curing the illness. Our volunteers provide social support and companionship, and come from all walks of life. They also provide respite for caregivers, giving caregivers time to atend to personal needs, run errands, grocery shop, etc. We have been helping patients and their families inthe quad cities and northern Arizona for over 20 years.
