When disasters reign, Red Cross volunteers storm in!
Our mission wouldn’t be possible without these community heroes. There are many ways you can help neighbors in need, including through our most-needed position: Disaster Action Team volunteer.
You have the power to be a part of something bigger than yourself, help a community member in need and feel good knowing you made an impact.
Every day people are forced from their home due to fires, storms or other disasters. Our Disaster Action Team volunteers respond day and night to meet the immediate needs of their neighbors. Assistance given may include financial provisions for food, clothing and lodging, emotional support, prescription medication, and other critically needed items.
